Introducing The Big Fruit Box, packed full of value and lovely fresh fruit - perfect for families with children hungry for fruit!

Our fruit is sourced as sustainably as we can. When in season and possible, we'll always use growers in the South West.

The contents of this box will change during the year - as the weather warms up we'll start adding in beautiful strawberries growing in the Tamar Valley :)

Currently in the Big Fruit Box we have:

 

  • 12 red apples (normally Royal Galas or Pink Lady, but dependent on the best apples we have and what's in season)
  • 12 green apples (normally Granny Smith or Golden Delicious)
  • 2kg of bananas
  • Eight pears
  • Eight satsumas
  • Eight medium oranges
  • Punnet of Blueberries
  • A honeydew melon
  • A punnet of juicy plums
  • Two Kiwi Fruit

Remember, if you want to add extras add this box to your basket and then browse the fruit, veg, potatoes, eggs and salad pages from the menu and add whatever you like.

Delivery information

At Veg Box Fresh, we'll do our very best to get your order to you as quickly as possible. How and when we deliver depends on where you are and what you've ordered.

Local delivery (Devon and Cornwall)

We deliver our full range across many Devon and Cornwall postcodes using our own vans.

There's no minimum order value, but we charge a small fee of £3 for orders under £20 (for subscription customers this is £15).

When you come to review your shopping basket, you'll notice a calendar where you can choose your delivery date. Pick your day and then select checkout. You won't be able to select Sundays, but you can select the next day so long as it's before 1pm, unless we've already filled up for the following day.

We deliver to the following locations on the following days, so be sure to pick the right day of the week for your location, or we may need to change your delivery day.

  • Plymouth - Monday to Saturday
  • Saltash - Monday to Saturday
  • Ivybridge area (PL21) - Wednesdays and Fridays
  • Plympton - Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays
  • Cornwood and Lutton - Wednesdays
  • Millbrook and Torpoint area (PL10/11) - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
  • Looe area (PL13) - Thursdays
  • Lee Moor and Shaugh Prior area - Wednesdays
  • Yealmpton/Noss Mayo/Brixton/Newton Ferrers (PL8) - Tuesdays
  • Wembury/Down Thomas/Heybrook (PL9 0) - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
  • Gunnislake and Tavistock (PL18/19) - Wednesday to Saturday
  • Yelverton area (PL20) - Tuesday to Saturday
  • Liskeard (PL14) - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
  • Launceston (PL15) - Tuesdays
  • Callington (PL17) - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
  • Bodmin (PL31) - Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

We cannot always guarantee that we'll deliver your box on the day you request. We'll let you know as soon as possible if we can't make it and will try to find a suitable alternative.

There's also a box for you to fill in when you click on your basket. Pop any special instructions in there for us (like 'leave it in the porch').

UK-wide delivery (West Country Boxes)

Our West Country Boxes are available across the UK. Delivery is included in the cost of the box and typically takes 1 to 2 business days from dispatch.

For UK-wide orders, there's no need to select a delivery date at checkout. Your box will be dispatched as soon as it's ready and sent straight to you.
